Cocoview
resort

|
Our
home on Roatan is Cocoview resort, situated on its own small private
island. The resort, known for its casual efficiency and friendly staff,
offers either over-water bungalows or air-conditioned rooms with private
porches.
From our private chartered boat, or from the beach right in front
of the resort, we'll explore some of Roatan's best snorkeling sites.

Snorkeling
and marine life
 |
 |
From
floating to freediving, this program is perfect for all levels of
experience. Your staff will be glad to provide instruction if needed.

 |

Roatan
has some of the most healthy soft corals, sea fans and gorgonians
of the Caribbean. |
 |
 |

|
Grunts,
Angelfish, Parrotfish, and mating Indigo Hamlets are just a few of
the many fish that can be seen in the waters around Roatan. Not only
during the daytime, but we'll also have a chance to see the reef at
night during our group night snorkel.

|
| |
Although
some of the invertebrates are hard to find, such as the arrowhead
crab, other are easily observed by snorkelers. Squid patrolling the
reef during the daytime, will hunt at night, and the colorful Flamingo
Tongue snail is mostly found on gorgonians.

Dolphin
Encounter
Besides
other excursions, to an Iguana farm, bird park etc., the Dolphin Encounter
is another highlight of the program.
